Senior Vice President, Corporate Supplier Diversity, Wells Fargo

Sonya Dukes is Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo & Company. In this role, Dukes is responsible for Wells Fargo’s Corporate Supplier Diversity Group. The group develops company-wide strategies, policies, infrastructure, processes and procedures to increase business with minority-, women- and disadvantaged-owned suppliers.

A 13 year financial services veteran, Ms. Dukes joined Wachovia Corporation (later acquired by Wells Fargo) in 1998. She serves on the Boards of Directors for the Greater Los Angeles African-American Chamber of Commerce and the North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women. She is part of the executive committee for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, the Howard University Communications Entrepreneurship Resource and Research Advisory Council. Ms. Dukes is a mentor for West Charlotte High School’s Emerging Leaders Program and Johnson C. Smith University’s Student Leadership Program. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council. In 2007, Ms. Dukes completed The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Executive Leadership Program, a development opportunity for select exceptionally talented, high-performing leaders.
