Julia Brown is Chief Procurement Officer & Senior Vice President of Global Procurement for Kraft Foods Inc. She has held this position since 2008 and is responsible for Kraft Foods’ worldwide purchases of all goods and services — estimated to be more than $30 billion dollars annually – and is leading a worldwide transformation of the company’s strategic sourcing function.

Ms. Brown currently serves as a Board member for the Institute of Supply Management, where she is the chair of the Finance Committee. In 2011, she also joined the board of directors for the National Minority Supplier Development Council. She became a member of the Executive Leadership Council in 2010 and has served as Co-chair for the 2011 Black Women’s Summit and is a Co-chair for the Corporate Board Initiative whose focus is to prepare African-Americans for corporate board positions.

She holds an honors Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
