Veleka R. Peeples-Dyer is is an accomplished life sciences executive who has spent her career dedicated to the industry, advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and other companies on regulatory, legal, and global compliance matters, as a strategic business and legal advisor.
At Opentrons, Peeples-Dyer provides advice and counsel to the Board of Directors and the Company’s business units, Robotics; PRL; Neochromosome; and Zenith AI. Prior to joining Opentrons, Veleka was the Chair of the North America Food and Drug Practice for Baker McKenzie, one of the world’s largest
law firms.
Peeples-Dyer serves on the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Advisory Board (CCWC), which is committed to promoting the career advancement of in-house women of color and supporting global diversity in the legal profession, and serves as a mentor to aspiring black lawyers with The Bridge Builders Esq. Veleka is a DC Founding Member of Chief, a private network of women in executive leadership focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders.
Peeples-Dyer is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and a graduate of Hampton University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
