Trecia M. Canty is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of PBF Energy Inc. and PBF Logistics LP. Since 2015, she has overseen all aspects of the legal affairs of PBF and PBFX and their subsidiaries. PBF is one of the U.S. largest independent petroleum refiners and suppliers of unbranded transportation fuels, lubricants and other petroleum products. PBF currently owns and operates fi ve domestic oil refineries and related assets located in California, Delaware, Louisiana, New Jersey and Ohio. PBF controls PBFX, a master limited partnership that owns and operates terminals, pipelines, storage facilities and similar logistics assets.
Previously, Canty served as PBF’s and PBFX’s Vice President, Senior Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. Prior to joining PBF in 2012, she served as Associate General Counsel, Corporate and Assistant Secretary of Southwestern Energy Company. She was previously an associate with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York.
Canty holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law, a Masters of Public Affairs from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs and a BA from Dartmouth College.
