Tracey Morant Adams leads economic, community, and small business development for Renasant Bank. As a divisional leader and member of the Senior Leaders Roundtable, she helps guide the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy and programs for minority and disadvantaged businesses. She founded The Nest, a business initiative for women entrepreneurs.

Adams is co-chair of Talladega College Board of Trustees, and chairperson of The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham. Additional boards include Children’s Hospital of Alabama, United Way of Central Alabama, and Birmingham Kiwanis Club. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey appointed her to the Alabama Statues Commission. She also serves on the Advisory Council of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition of Community Bankers.

Adams was on the transition team following the election of Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin. She currently serves on the city’s Small Business Task Force. She is co-chair of the National Constitution and Bylaws Committee of The Links, Incorporated, and chairperson of the International Membership Committee for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Adams earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Montevallo, and MBA degree from Samford University. She is pursuing a PhD in Leadership, Policy and Law at Alabama State University.
