Tina Perry was named Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in 2014. She was formerly Senior Vice President, Head of Business & Legal Affairs and joined in 2009 as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs. Mrs. Perry oversees all business affairs and legal matters at OWN LLC, OWN Studios, and OWN. Mrs. Perry also oversees OWN standards & practices, international sales, union administration, insurance, participations, scripted, and international deliverables, rights management, and risk assessment. She is a member of the OWN LLC board.
Mrs. Perry joined OWN following a career in business and legal affairs at VH1 and MTV at Viacom. Prior to Viacom, she was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP in New York.
Mrs. Perry is a member of the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) Board of Trustees. Mrs. Perry is also a founding board member and Vice Chair of The Mistake Room, LA’s only independent non-profi t institution devoted to international contemporary art.
Mrs. Perry holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, and graduated with Honors from Stanford University.
