Teresa Metcalf Beasley is a Partner with Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP’s Cleveland office, and she serves as Chair of the fi rm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Her practice focuses on real estate development, public fi nance, historic and new markets tax credits, economic development incentives, tax increment financing, government relations, and public law.
Teresa is experienced in bond transactions and has served as bond, underwriter’s, borrower’s, as well as placement agent counsel. She also has experience with joint economic development zones and districts, project labor agreements, and diversity plans. She has represented private entities and local and county governmental agencies, including municipalities, port authorities, and healthcare entities on business, financing, real estate matters, construction, and government relations.
Teresa is currently serving her second four-year term as the Law Director for the City of Warrensville Heights. She has been named a Cleveland YWCA Woman of Achievement (2017) and serves on the Board of The Cleveland Foundation as well as other professional boards in Northeast Ohio.
Teresa received her B.A. from the University of Alabama and J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
