Singleton B. McAllister is Attorney of Counsel at Husch Blackwell LLP.
In this role, McAllister represents companies and trade associations across industries in government relations matters related to international trade, transportation, energy and healthcare.
McAllister has been practicing government relations and public policy law for more than 25 years and has served in numerous positions with the U.S. House of Representatives.
McAllister was appointed by former President Clinton as General Counsel to the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she served as the Chief legal counsel of over 72 global U.S. missions.
In 2012, McAllister was named among the nation’s “Top Black Lawyers with Influence” by On Being a Black Lawyer Magazine. McAllister was appointed by the Governor of Virginia as the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s State Board of Elections in 2015.
McAllister holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law.
