Shawn Williams is a Partner of Robbins Geller, and Managing Partner of the Firm’s San Francisco office.
Williams has served as lead counsel in a range of complex commercial and securities actions resulting in substantial economic recoveries. For example, Shawn was among lead counsel in Facebook Biometric Information Privacy Litig., resulting in the largest ever privacy class action settlement – $650 million.
Williams also led the Firm’s investigation of claims in Hefler v. Wells Fargo & Co., which recovered $480 million for investors. Shawn is also a member of the Firm’s Shareholder Derivative Practice Group, which has secured comprehensive corporate governance reforms in a number of high-profile cases. Before joining the Firm, Shawn served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
