Sháka Rasheed is Managing Director, General Manager – Capital Markets of Microsoft.
In this role, Rasheed is a member of the senior leadership team devising and executing on Microsoft’s go-to-market strategies across the most sophisticated financial services organizations in the world. He leads digital transformation efforts across investment banks, traditional and alternative asset & wealth managers, fintechs, data-providers, exchanges/market infrastructure, regulators and payment companies.
As an accomplished leader and advisor currently at the intersection of financial services and technology, Rasheed has over 25 years of business development, sales, strategy and leadership experience at premier financial services firms, including Bridgewater, Citadel, Lazard, and JPMorgan Chase.
Rasheed holds a B.A. from Morehouse College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
