Richard R. Harris is co-chair of Littler’s Litigation and Trials Practice Group for Littler Mendelson P.C. Harris represents employers in a variety of litigation matters, including claims related to discrimination, racial and sexual harassment, trade secrets, and wrongful termination and promotion.

 

Harris also counsels management on litigation avoidance and developing policies and programs that comply with federal and state employment laws.

 

Harris has represented Fortune 500 companies in multi-state litigation and tried more than 50 jury trials in state and federal court.

 

Harris is recognized as a leading authority on trial advocacy and is a frequent contributor to local and national media outlets.

 

Harris is recognized as a leading lawyer in the legal industry and was named last year as a Distinguished Leader by The Legal Intelligencer. He has also been ranked in The Legal 500 United States 2016 guide as a leading lawyer in labor and employment disputes.

 

Harris serves on the Board of Trustees for the Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School and a board member of Enon-Coulter Community Development Corp.

 

Harris earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and his B.A. from the University of Maryland.
