Phillip R. Cox, for more than 40 years, has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Cox Financial Corporation, an independent financial services company he founded.
Cox is a founding member of the TimkenSteel Board of Directors: serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Cincinnati Bell, where he has been a Director since 1993 and Chairman of its Board of Directors of Touchstone Mutual Funds.
Cox served as a Director of The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In addition, he served as the Chairman of University of Cincinnati.
In 2003, Cox was named “Man of the Year” by the Ohio Cancer Research Associates.
Cox has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Psychology from Xavier University and holds a Doctorate of Letters degree from College of Mount St. Joseph and Cincinnati Phillip R. Cox Technical College.
