Paul N. Harris joined KeyCorp in 2003 and is Secretary and General Counsel, overseeing the corporation’s legal and government relations functions. He also serves as a member of the Executive Council and the Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to joining Key, Harris served as partner-in-charge of the Cleveland office of Thompson Hine LLP (1999-2003) and as an executive officer of Revco D.S., Inc. (1993-1997). Paul serves on behalf of KeyCorp on the Board of Directors of The Clearing House Association and is a past Board Chair and current Governance Committee Chair of the Association. He served as Chair, as appointee of Ohio’s United States Senators, of the United States Judicial Nominations Commission for the Southern District of Ohio (March 2009 to February 2011 and June to November 2016).
Active in the community, Harris serves as a Director and as a four-term past President of The City Club of Cleveland and as a member of the boards of Hawken School as a Vice Chair and Breakthrough Charter Schools as Chair.
Harris received his BA from The University of Chicago and his JD from Stanford Law School.
