Matthew Johnson is the Managing Partner of Ziffren Brittenham LLP. He represents some of the most recognizable on-camera talent, renowned film and television producers, directors and writers, and superstars in sports and music.
Johnson is Vice President of the Los Angeles Police Commission and is an At-Large Member of the Democratic National Committee, where he serves on the Budget and Finance Committee. He is a past Board President of Challengers and Echo Park Boys & Girls Clubs.
Johnson currently serves as a National Trustee for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He is also a Board Member of the Los Angeles Urban League, the Foreign Policy Roundtable and Common Sense Media.
Johnson was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award, the Langston Bar Association’s Lawyer of the Year Award and the Dream Keeper Award from the I Have a Dream Foundation for his dedication to education.
In 2008, Johnson was the youngest person recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the 100 Power Lawyers in the Entertainment Industry – he has remained on that list every year since.
Johnson is a graduate of Rutgers College and NYU School of Law.
