Marchelle E. Moore is the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Encova Mutual Insurance Group. Encova, formerly Motorists Insurance Group and BrickStreet Insurance, is a super-regional carrier ranked in the top 20 mutual companies in the United States.
In this role, Moore leads Encova’s strategic and tactical legal initiatives and provides the executive and senior leadership teams with legal advice on company strategies and implementation. She also leads regulatory affairs, industry relations and corporate communications.
Moore’s awards and achievements include The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law’s Community Service Award; United Way’s Key Club Emerging Leader Award; Who’s Who in Black Columbus, Game Changer and fellow of the Young American Leader Program at Harvard Business School.
Moore is the immediate past chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Association Board of Directors and current member of the National Council for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She is also a Board Director for CampusParc and the Ohio Insurance Guaranty Association.
Moore holds a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The Ohio State University.
