Steverson serves on Corning’s Management Committee, which is responsible for the company’s overall leadership, strategic direction, policy-making, and governance. In 2015, Steverson negotiated the realignment of Corning’s ownership interest in Dow Corning, a 75-year-old joint venture with Dow Chemical, which resulted in Corning exchanging its 50% ownership interest for $4.8 billion and a 40.25% ownership interest in Hemlock Semiconductor Group.

Previously, Steverson spent 18 years with Motorola Solutions, Inc., where he held a variety of leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

Steverson earned his bachelor’s degree from Siena College and his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
