Leslie Spencer is an Intellectual Property Partner in Ropes & Gray’s Silicon Valley office. She is also co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. Leslie counsels clients on intellectual property litigation matters involving computer software, electronics and Fintech.
Spencer is also a registered patent attorney, and she advises clients on IP asset protection and freedom-to-operate.
Spencer was recognized by New York Law Journal as one of 30 Top Women in Law 2016.
Prior to law school, Spencer was a software developer for financial services and defense technology companies.
Spencer received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
