Kevin Armstrong is General Counsel for DST Brokerage Solutions, LLC and its affi liate, DST Market Services, a FINRA member broker dealer. DST is a global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services for the financial services industry.
Armstrong provides strategic legal advice on governance and transactional matters to reduce and avoid regulatory risks and litigation while facilitating growth and innovation for the fi rm’s technology based information services and operations outsourcing solutions.
Armstrong is a thought leader at the intersection of FinTech and the regulations that govern alternative investments, mutual funds, and broker dealers. Armstrong’s leadership in this area is uniquely informed by his previous roles for several financial services firms including Pershing Advisor Solutions, Morgan Stanley, and Ameriprise Financial.
Armstrong is a frequent speaker on panels concerning securities law, compliance, privacy, data security, and public policy. Armstrong is involved in numerous organizations and has been awarded a “CUP Catalyst Award” from the Council of Urban Professionals (2013).
Armstrong earned his B.S. degree from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
