Kellye Walker is Chief Legal Officer for Huntington Ingalls industries, America’s largest military shipbuilding company and provider of manufacturing, engineering and management services to nuclear energy, oil and gas markets. At Huntington Ingalls, she is a member of the senior leadership team providing oversight, guidance and strategic counsel to the business on legal, regulatory matters, board and corporate governance matters. She leads a team of attorneys responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal affairs, including compliance and privacy, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Walker is a senior legal executive with over 20 years of experience helping functional organizations at publicly traded companies increase organizational value through forward thinking, strategic discipline and focus on continuous improvement. These skills have been parlayed into value creation not only in the legal function, but also in her capacity as an advisor to boards of directors and as a leader of other functional organizations.
