Kedra Newsom Reeves is a Managing Director & Partner in BCG’s Chicago office. She holds deep experience and expertise in the intersection of people, operations and technology. Her work has focused on the design and implementation of strategic operating models in asset management, banking, education and social services.

In addition to her work with clients, Reeves has co-authored multiple publications on the topics of financial inclusion, community investment and ESG. She had the honor of hosting a TED talk on the wealth gap in an effort to change the narrative around social impact and the role of business.

At BCG, Reeves serves as a member of the Global Asset Management Leadership Team, Co-Lead for the Center for Inclusion and Equity, a Center for Illinois’ Future Board Member and the Midwest Black & Latinx Network Lead.

Outside of BCG, Newsom sits on the boards of City Year Chicago, the Chicago Civic Consulting Alliance and Chicago Public Media. Kedra started her financial services career as a technologist at Merrill Lynch.

Reeves earned her MBA from the Harvard Business School and her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.
