Karen Morrison serves as the President of the OhioHealth Foundation and Senior Vice President of OhioHealth. For 30 years, she has served as a healthcare executive, attorney and lobbyist. She currently leads the enterprise strategy for external affairs, including community relations, corporate reinvestment, government and regulatory affairs.

 

In her role as Foundation President, Karen provides executive fundraising leadership to advance OhioHealth’s philanthropic mission and investments.

 

In 2018, Karen was elected a Director of SafeAuto, a property and casualty auto insurance company. She serves as a member of the Fifth Third Bank Advisory Board of Directors, central Ohio; Board of Directors for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Columbus Board of Health, Columbus Regional Airport Authority and Columbus Urban League.

 

Karen is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Advisory Board’s Philanthropy Council. Additionally, she’s a member of the Executive Leadership Council and The Links, Incorporated, serving on its national executive council for three administrations.

 

Karen has an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, a graduate degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, and a law degree from Capital University
