Jason L. Brown is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Dyson, Inc. In this role, Brown is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters that impact the North American business of the British technology company known for its innovative vacuum cleaners, bladeless fans and high speed hand dryers.
Brown leads a team handling a variety of issues involving, among others, product safety, commercial contracts, immigration and advertising/ promotional claims.
Prior to Dyson, Brown spent a decade in consumer foods. First, at Pepsi Beverages Company, he gained increasing responsibility while providing legal support to both domestic and Caribbean territories for the soft drink bottler. Subsequently, at MillerCoors as Associate General Counsel, he co-led the commercial legal team.
Before joining MillerCoors, Brown was the first Executive Director and General Counsel for the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) a non-profit organization committed to promoting diversity within the legal profession.
Brown serves on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and Legal Prep Charter Academy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from Howard University.
