Hansel E. Tookes, II was President of Raytheon International for Raytheon. During his career he led in a number of senior executive positions with Raytheon, a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, security and civil markets throughout the world.


Tookes joined Raytheon in 1999 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Raytheon Aircraft
Company, was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Raytheon Aircraft Company
in 2000, and became President of Raytheon International in 2001.


From 1980 until joining Raytheon, Tookes held a variety of leadership positions with United Technologies Corporation, including service as President of Pratt & Whitney’s Large Military Engines Group. Tookes was also a Lieutenant Commander and military pilot in the U.S. Navy and later served as a commercial pilot with United Airlines.


Tookes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Systems from the University of West Florida.
