Gregg Knight is Executive Vice President, Customer Transformation and Business Services at CenterPoint Energy.

In this role, Knight oversees Customer Operations, Information Technology, Key Accounts, Marketing, Energy Efficiency, Economic Development, Facilities Management and two of the company’s competitive businesses: Energy Systems Group and Home Service Plus.

Over his 25-year career, Knight has held leadership roles in technology, sales, energy services, marketing, operations and P&L management.

During his tenure at CenterPoint Energy, Knight has driven a culture of innovation, strategic management and digital transformation.

Knight serves on the board of Pentair, Plc. He also serves on the University of Houston, Bauer College of Business, Customer Experience Advisory Panel. He also serves as a recurring lecturer in brand and marketing at Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business.

Knight earned a Bachelor’s degree in American studies, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gregg has also completed the executive management program at Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business in Houston.
