Gerri Mason Hall leads Human Resources for Sodexo in North America with responsibility for more than 160,000 employees. She is committed to creating an environment where all feel valued and have the resources and support to fully engage in Sodexo’s quest to be the global leader in quality of life services.

 

Prior to Sodexo, Gerri served as the Chief Diversity Officer for Amtrak, the U.S. national passenger railroad, reporting to the CEO. She was instrumental in settling a class action lawsuit and dramatically increased the representation of African Americans in leadership roles.

 

Augmenting her commitment to inclusion and advancing the underserved, Gerri currently serves on three boards that support and uplift diverse communities: UNCF; SodexoMAGIC, a joint venture with Magic Johnson Enterprises; and Sodexo’s Stop Hunger Foundation.

 

Gerri is a native of Washington, DC, and is actively involved in organizations that advance girls and women of color. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and the Links, Inc.

 

A graduate of Vassar College and the GWU National Law Center, Gerri held several appointments in both the federal and District of Columbia governments.
