Dionysia Johnson-Massie is an Equity Shareholder at Littler Mendelson, the largest global labor and employment law firm representing employers.

 

Johnson-Massie is a litigator and is also responsible for strategizing with C-suite executives and other leaders on legal and business matters, including a broad range of employment-related litigation, agency and other investigations, and diversity, equity and inclusion business strategies.

 

Johnson-Massie’s innovative leadership includes having served as the first African American female on Littler’s Board of Directors helping to drive the firm’s international expansion strategies. She co-founded and co-led the firm’s award-winning Diversity and Inclusion Council and later, its Women’s Leadership Initiatives, and has served on various community boards or with organizations supporting economically disadvantaged families and children.

 

Johnson-Massie has received numerous awards for her passionate commitment to mentoring, community service, and diversity and inclusion.

 

Johnson-Massie earned two degrees from Yale College (B.A, English/B.A. Psychology) and a Law degree from the University of Virginia. She is married to Dr. Clarence Massie, Jr. and they have two children, Trey and Morgan.
