Derica W. Rice was formerly the President of CVS Caremark, the pharmacy benefits management business of CVS Health, and Executive Vice President of CVS Health.
In this role, Rice oversaw all aspects of the business, including sales and account management, operations, mail service pharmacy and specialty pharmacy.
Prior to CVS, Rice served as the Executive Vice President of Global Services and Chief Financial Officer from 2006 to 2017. In this role, Rice oversaw all financial, business strategy, business development, IT and Six Sigma activities. During his 27-year tenure at Eli Lilly, Rice was instrumental in helping to drive the company’s innovation strategy and held numerous roles in finance and operations.
Rice holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.
