David Rawlinson II became President and CEO of Qurate Retail, Inc. on October 1, 2021.
In this position, Rawlinson II leads a select group of seven leading retail brands – QVC®, HSN®, Zulily®, Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Garnet Hill®, and Grandin Road® – which together form Qurate Retail GroupSM.
Qurate Retail Group is the largest player in video commerce (“vCommerce”), which includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming, and social platforms. In 2021, Qurate Retail delivered $14 billion in revenue, served nearly 22 million customers across seven countries, and had thousands of team members worldwide.
Rawlinson II joined Qurate Retail from NielsenIQ, where he served as CEO and led the company through a transition to new ownership.
Rawlinson II also served as a White House Fellow and held various appointed positions under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.
Rawlinson II serves on the boards of directors for Qurate Retail, Inc., Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS) and NielsenIQ.
Rawlinson II has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law and is a graduate of The Citadel.
