Christian Elloie West is Assistant General Counsel for Deloitte LLP, where she provides strategic legal advice and counseling on a wide range of employment law and litigation matters. She previously worked as seconded counsel to Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and as an associate with Sidley Austin LLP.
With a passion for diversity, inclusion and community service, Christian serves on the NYC Bar Association’s Committee to Enhance Diversity in the Profession, as a law student mentor and Board of Directors member for Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program, Inc. (PALS), and the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City’s (NAMI-NYCMetro) Young Professionals Advisory Board. She is also a past Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Association of Black Women Attorneys, Inc. (ABWA).
Christian’s speaking engagements include continuing legal education and presentations on various legal practice matters before the Association of Corporate Counsel, the National Association of Women Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Women of Color, and other bar organizations and universities.
Christian earned her J.D., cum laude, from Southern University Law Center and B.A. from Tulane University.
