Chris Brooks is Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Ametek Engineered Medical Components Division. This business provides components and assemblies to OEMs in the Medical Device/Technology markets.
In this role, Brooks is responsible for Ametek’s innovative commercial, engineering and operations teams that supply medical technology products across the globe from facilities in North America and Asia.
Previously, Brooks held leadership positions with ITW, Nordson Corporation and Coca-Cola.
Brooks honed general management skills in sales, marketing, manufacturing, strategic planning and supply chain operations roles that are put to good use in the current executive leadership role.
Brooks served on The Boys & Girls Club of Gwinnett County and currently serves on the boards of Thurgood Marshall Center Trust, North Carolina A&T Board of Visitors and American Heart Association – Advancing Sciences.
Brooks holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina.
