Burt M. Fealing serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Southwire Company, a privately held global manufacturer with more than $5 billion of revenue.
In his role, Fealing leads the company’s legal, compliance and risk management function as well as overseeing regulatory matters. Since joining Southwire, Fealing has been instrumental in redefining the role of the legal function and incorporating technology in the delivery of legal services.
Prior to joining Southwire, Fealing served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at ITT Corporation, where he directed global legal operations. Fealing has also held leadership roles at SUPERVALU and Verizon Communications.
Fealing is a member of the State Bars of Massachusetts and Georgia and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Civically, Fealing serves on the Boards of the Pro Bono Partnership in Westchester, NY; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta; the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
