Bruce Jackson is the Assistant General Counsel for the US Global Sales, Marketing and Operation group at Microsoft. His key responsibilities include advancing a $18 billion sales business unit in negotiating licensing and contracts and assisting Fortune 500 companies in their conversion to Cloud services.

 

Jackson also supports Microsoft’s government affairs and corporate citizenship initiatives with a commitment to serve communities in the New York metropolitan area. Additionally, he has been a proponent for diversity & inclusion throughout his career and a thought leader for the adaptation of STEM initiatives.

 

Jackson joined Microsoft in 2000 as lead attorney covering the digital media group.

 

Prior to joining Microsoft, he was a founding partner in the entertainment law fi rm of Jackson, Brown, Powell and St. George.

 

Jackson sits on the boards of the National Association of Women & Minority Owned Law Firms and the African-American Chamber of Commerce for Westchester & Rockland County. He also served on the New York State’s Advisory Council on Interactive Media and Youth Violence.

 

Jackson holds a B.A. in Accounting from Hofstra University and a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
