Ari Q. Fitzgerald is Partner of Hogan Lovells.

In this role, Fitzgerald leads the firm’s Communications, Internet, and Media practice, providing strategic, legal and policy advice on a wide range of communications and spectrum policy issues.

Fitzgerald was Legal Advisor to the FCC’s former Chairman, William Kennard, for three years. Fitzgerald later served as Deputy Chief of the FCC’s International Bureau.

Previously, Fitzgerald served in a variety of governmental and corporate roles. He was an Attorney in the Office of Legal Counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice, Legal Counsel to former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley, an Attorney with Sullivan and Cromwell and a Financial Analyst in the corporate finance department of a New York investment bank before entering law school.

Fitzgerald holds an A.B. from Harvard College, and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
