April Kelly-Drummond is the Head of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement at Denny’s, Inc. She develops programs and initiatives to advance the company’s overall corporate commitment to diversity and inclusion.

 

For over 25 years, she has worked with organizations, such as the Tom Joyner Foundation, the National Action Network, the Rainbow Push Coalition, the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, the US Hispanic Leadership Institute, Magic Johnson Foundation and many others.

 

Drummond serves on the corporate advisory boards for the League of United Latin American Citizens and the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance.

 

Drummond also is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated.

 

Drummond has been named to the South Carolina Women of the Year/Human and Community Relations Award by the Governor of South Carolina. She’s a recipient of the Women Empowerment Award by National Action Network.

 

Drummond received her B.S. of Professional Studies from the College of Charleston with a concentration of Organizational Development.
