Angela Russell is the Regional Managing Partner of Wilson Elser’s Baltimore office, chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She is an experienced litigator and has tried cases in Minnesota, the District of Columbia and Maryland. Her practice encompasses the defense of complex commercial actions. She defends professional liability claims, including medical and legal malpractice actions as well as claims against agents, brokers and other professionals. She also handles construction disputes and class action claims. Her clients include hospitals, health care networks, physician groups and other professionals. She also represents large construction companies, hotels and national retail chains.
Angela served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN. She has been rated as AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer from 2015 to 2018.
Angela was appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for Howard County by Maryland Governor Hogan in 2016. She is Chairperson for of Maryland Chapter of Fellows of the ABA. She is also Vice President of the Maryland Chapter for the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
