Angela Gomes is a Partner in the Boston oﬃce of Sullivan & Worcester and serves as Co-Leader of the ﬁrm’s REITs Practice Group, as well as co-chair of the ﬁrm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate ﬁnance, in addition to handling general corporate matters.
Gomes advises clients, including public companies, on a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including securities law compliance, disclosure and periodic reporting, and corporate governance matters.
Gomes also advises a number of nonproﬁt organizations on general corporate law matters, as well as state and federal tax-exempt status. Angela received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University.
Among her many accolades, Gomes was named a Rising Star by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association in 2019, one of Massachusetts Lawyers’ Weekly’s Top Women of Law in 2017, and one of Ten Outstanding Young Leaders by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce in 2015. Gomes served as President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association from April 2015 to April 2016.
Gomes also serves on the board of directors of a number of nonproﬁt organizations.
