Adebayo O. Ogunlesi is Chairman and Managing Partner of Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm that invests in infrastructure assets in the energy, transport and water sectors in both OECD and select emerging markets countries since 2006. Previously, Ogunlesi was Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Client Officer of the Credit Suisse Investment Banking Division, with senior responsibility for the company’s corporate and sovereign investment banking clients.
Ogunlesi was a lecturer at Harvard Law School and the Yale School of Organization and Management. From 1980 to 1981, Ogunlesi served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thurgood Marshall, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
Ogunlesi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics with first class honors from Oxford University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
