Charles Brooks is responsible for a wide range of operational areas across the global organization including information technology, real estate and facilities, procurement, workflow and general business efficiencies. He reports to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACE Limited.

Before joining ACE, Mr. Brooks was head of M&A Services for IT and Operations at Aetna.  Prior to doing M&A, Mr. Brooks was head of National Accounts Customer Operations for Aetna, which grew into heading all of Member and Plan Sponsor Services.

Early in his career, he served in the U.S. Army as a Captain. He currently serves as a Director for Connecticut Chapter of American Red Cross, Director and Development Chair for Rebuilding Together Hartford, and is the Vice Chair, an executive committee member and trustee for Mercy Housing and Shelter in the greater-Hartford area.

He has a MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
