Aon announce that Rachel Perry has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer for Commercial Risk, North America.
In this new role, Rachel will use her proven leadership skills and expertise to work across Commercial Risk to accelerate innovation and better address unmet client needs.
Rachel will report directly to Maureen Toomey as part of the Strategic Solutions and Innovation (SSI) practice. The SSI practice launched earlier this year and aims to bring new value-generating ideas and alternatives to traditional risk transfer approaches, enabling clients to make better decisions. Rachel also will engage significantly with Jillian Slyfield and the Aon Growth Ventures (AGV) team.
Rachel has over 25 years of insurance experience and has been part of Aon since 2012. She currently serves as market leader for Atlanta, responsible for strategy, financial performance, growth, client retention, and delivering client solutions across Commercial Risk, Health, Wealth and Human Capital Solutions. Her previous leadership roles at Aon included resident managing director of the Atlanta office, commercial risk account executive leader, and Southeast regional casualty leader, where she brought over 20 years of casualty expertise, serving large global clients with complex structures and program designs.
Rachel is passionate about talent development and a strong champion of diversity, equity and inclusion within the insurance industry. She will be closely involved in the search for a new Atlanta market leader and will work with that person to ensure a smooth transition.
